Lester E. Eierdam

LESTER E. EIERDAM, 74, of Altamonte Springs, FL., passed away on Nov. 9, 2002 after a long illness. Born in Cleveland, OH., son of Lester J. and Lydia (nee Hein) Eierdam. He moved to FL. in 1986 after his retirement from the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He was a 12-gallon blood donor to the American Red Cross and a 33rd Degree Mason, belonging to the Parma, OH. lodge. He is survived by his wife, Treva (nee Plummer). He was father to Lester James (deceased) and Mark E. of Las Vegas, NV.; daughters, Yvonne Halejko of Hinckley, OH., Cynthia Vugrich of Lakewood, OH. and Cheryl Stelling of Sanford, FL.; stepson, David Cheesebrough of Buffalo, NY.; dear brother of Richard A. (deceased); and sister, Elaine V. Johnson of Broadview Hts., OH.; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorial services were held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 at San Lando Methodist Church, 1939 Booth Circle, Longwood, FL. 32750, where donations may be made to the Memorial Fund or to the American Red Cross. www.cleveland.com/obits
