LESTER JENKINS

Lester Jenkins EFFINGHAM - Memorial service for Mr. Lester Jenkins will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Ideal Funeral Parlor. He died on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Lester was born August 1, 1955 in Florence, SC to the late Bishop, Sr. and Wessie Jordan Jenkins. He was a 1972 graduate of Southside High School. He served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps. Lester was a member of Living Word Baptist Church, Timmonsville, SC. He is survived by: one daughter, Keilada Paige of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Myree, Malice and Massiah of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Celestine J. Walker of East Orange, NJ and Sarah (Charles) Goodson of Darlington, SC; brothers, Bishop Jenkins, Jr., Earl Jenkins and Jordan Jenkins of East Orange, NJ; Barry (Carolyn) Jenkins and Reginald Jenkins of Effingham, SC; one uncle; several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
