Judith Afsahi
October 13, 2021
My prayers go out for the progress of her dear soul. She and her husband took care of my husband, Shad Afsahi, when he was ill and got him into a hospital. Her husband also officiated at our Baha'i wedding: Judith and Shad Afsahi, in Houston in 1962. Shad passed February 5, 2020. Lovely family and memories will be with us forever. Thank you for your kindness.

On behalf of Horace & Mattelia Grays, we send heartfelt condolences to the Plummer family. My father and Mrs. Plummer attended college together. I met her many years ago and worked under her leadership as the first African American woman Executive Director of the HISD Guidance Department. She was a exceptional leader and a great role model to us all. I truly loved her; over the years, we stayed in touch. She was a beautiful both inside and out. Her wisdom will certainly be missed; however, her spirit shall live with us forever!

Mrs. Plummer was all strength and first class in everything! She was one of the most beautiful and most smartest woman I´ve ever met. I adored her. I am just one of many she took under her wings to guide through my challenges in life and career. My deepest sympathy to the Plummer family!!

For my dearest next door neighbor who has now joined her loved ones Diane, and Matthew sr. on the heavenly plane. She offered 'angelic assistance and guidance' to a multitude of Black youths in their formative years which will never be forgotten. Strength to James and Wesley and their families.
Rest proudly...Barry McWashington
