He and I were station in the air force 1965 wordsmith afb oscoda michigan. I lived in south bend indiana and Levi among would visit my family in south bend. He even came back year later to visit my mom. I am so sorry to hear about his passing

While stationed at Wurtsmith AFB, Levi and I were like brothers. We were in the Chapel choir and a band called The Chessmen. He was a great friend and I know he will be missed.

I’m late but he taught me some things when I serviced my mother at his funeral home in 2009. They also did my Dad’s homegoing Nov. 2020 which was the last time I saw and spoke with him.

I've only had a chance to speak with him once, very nice humble person he was

Wow, this Man of God was on my mind and I looked him up only to find he had transition from labor to reward. He was a great Pastor and Musical genius. I remember the days of singing with him here in Houston. My deepest sympathy to his family and those who knew and loved him.

Dr. King made everyone feel special. He was a friend to all, and never met a stranger. Dr. King was a giant in Christendom. His presence here on earth is truly missed, but we know that he is resting from his labor now. He fought a good fight and he kept the faith. I will always remember how he drove his funeral car over to House of Prayer to All Nations Church to speak with my Father in the Gospel Bishop John H. Pettiford. It was so urgent to him as he expressed how "they were not going to stand by and see me get messed up" by a pastor that I was dating at the time. He said to me, on his way to the office to speak to Bishop Pettiford, "there are some things I can tell you, but there are other things that I need to tell your pastor." I never questioned his spiritual advice, yet forever grateful that he and Bishop Pettiford had my back in the matter. Dr. King was truly a friend to my family and really more like family we were. Levi will be truly missed for being a great legacy in society for being a Family man, a great Leader as a Funeral Director, Preacher, Teacher, his wonderful personality, and most outstanding since of humor! To the family hold on to God unchanging hands.

Bishop King was a greatly admired friend and fellow laborer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I held him in high regard personally and for his great depth of understanding of the Scriptures and compassion for the people of God, and unflagging desire to see the lost brought to Christ. I will miss him on earth, and rejoice to join him in the presence of the Lord.

I couldn't believe this when I heard it in my eyes you was gonna be here to do everybody's funeral you made a mark with my family you were family I send my condolences to everybody you touched you will be missed God needed you for a bigger job

Dr Levi was my very first Pastor back in the early 70's. He was a funny jovial guy. We all loved him! May you rest in peace Pastor!
