Levi J. Mattey, 26, of Charleroi, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018, as a result of an ATV accident.
Born September 28, 1992, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Joseph E. Mattey Jr. of Fayette City and Eleasha Burke Piontek and husband David of Charleroi.
A resident of Charleroi for the past 11 years, Levi worked as a water transfer technician for Platinum Fluid Solutions.
He enjoyed riding quads and dirt bikes, listening to country music, campfires and had a love for being in the outdoors. Levi was a hard worker and was always one to be there and help other people.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Joshua Burke of Charleroi and Kaleb Mattey of Fayette City; two sisters, Monica Piontek of Charleroi and Brianna Piontek of Charleroi; paternal grandmother Catherine "Suzie" Mattey Lowman of Belle Vernon; maternal grandmother Linda A. Burke of Eighty Four; maternal grandfather Barry Burke of Jacksonville, N.C.; a special uncle and aunt, Jason and Dionne Mattey of Rostraver Township; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are his paternal grandfather, Joseph E. Mattey Sr., and an aunt, Brigitte Boyd.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, October 20, in Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, with Pastor Charles House of First Christian Church, Republic, officiating.
