Dotsy, I am heartbroken for you.Your children must be truly fine individuals, if they resemble you and your husband. In '68, when you married, I was already in France. So long ago. Barbara, Louis Jacomme, children Elisabeth, Chris, William, and Claire (and five grandchildren)

I knew Lewis Bowker when he was Captain Bowker, Battery CO of Delta Battery, 3/71 ADA in Pforzheim, Germany 1966-67. As a 1LT & Battalion TO, we once moved Delta to an off-site location almost ruining a then-new autobahn. CPT Bowker as described by others was steady, in control and ready for anything. A good man gone .. my condolences to his family.

Colonel Bowker was my Boss in Korea when he commanded the 2st Bn, 61 ADA, Camp Stanley, Republic of Korea. As his Adjutant (S1) it was my great pleasure to have him as a mentor and leader. He was always there to provide guidance and encouragement to the officers of the battalion. It was tough duty but the Boss made sure we were always prepared and ready to go when called. He will be missed---I'm glad I got to spend that time with him.

Dotsy and family, I have been praying for Lewis since hearing of his problems. I have such fond memories of our high school days. Doug and I enjoyed so much eating at the table with you both at the last reunion and catching up on your lives. You were such a great couple. Pleas know that I am thinking of you and the family.

Our sincere sympathies to the Bowker family. We have great memories of seeing Lew after mass in the fall to discuss the previous day's football game of ND.We were both avid fans and couldn't handle the losses, so we diagnosed the game from start to finish and were the last cars to leave the parking lot. :Lew was a wonderful man.
