Lewis GERGOUDIS obituary, Richmond, VA

In memory of

Lewis GERGOUDIS

Add memories that will last forever

Not sure what to say?

February 15, 2013

Lew Gergoudis, the infintely gentle man was the epitomy of what a man, husband, father, grandfather, and friend should be. His kind and gentle ways will always be remembered, all of which came from his Christian Heritage and Beliefs.

He has left and indelible legacy on many lives and will be fondly remembered.

I regret that I was out of town when he died and was unable to attend the celebration of his life.

My deepest and sincere sympathy goes out to the entire family, and I salute them for the loving manor in which they cared for their father and mother.

Yours in the Faith,
David Saleeba

Our hearts were heavy for the loss of such a gentle man. Lew was always pleasant and friendly when we would see him in church. It was lovely to see how the family cared for their dad and mom while in their times of need. Now, they are eternally together. Elaine and I were sorry that our illness prevented us from attending the service. The family was certainly in our thoughts and prayers.

In 1979, I had the pleasure of living with Art and spending much time with this wonderful family. I will never forget the first dinner I was invited to with the whole family. This was a family that was so vibrant and full of life! They were truly caring for all that came to know the family. To have parents that were married 68 years is amazing and what a wonderful couple. The Gergoudis Family was so fortunate to have the quality of time with Lewis and Fannie as the two shaped such a classic family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Although very late in our lives, I was honored to have met your parents when they lived at Parkside and knew they were such a special couple. I am so sorry this has been such a difficult year for your family and hope that the family photo I took of your parents a few months ago will help you remember better times. Karen Grossman Molzhon
