Liberty Ashworth

Liberty Annalyce Ashworth, lovingly known to many as Libbie, started her next journey with Jesus at 10:59 am on January 4, 2025, just shy of her nineteenth birthday. She was surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Liberty won her battle against cancer. She's home, she's healed, a perfect picture dancing down streets of rose gold. Life is short, eternity is forever.

Liberty danced into this world on January 6, 2006. The cherished daughter of Timothy Ashworth and Jennifer and Shane Jensen. She was a beloved sister to Latyn Ashworth, Matt Mikkelsen, Cassidy (Brandon) Derry, Carleigh (John) Derry, Mallorie (Kyle) Johnson, and Luna Jensen. Her role as a devoted aunt brought immense joy to her life; she adored her nephews Jericho, Judah, and Bryor and her niece Joleigh with all her heart. Grandparents Bob Lee & Catherine Scott and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A proud graduate of Panorama Community School in 2024, Liberty had already begun to chart a bright future for herself. She pursued her dream of becoming an elementary school teacher studying at Grand View University, where she majored in elementary education. While excelling academically, Liberty also graced the university's dance team with her talent and passion. Her dedication to both her studies and her art reflected the vibrant energy she brought to everything she touched.

Liberty's spirit radiated with a light that could brighten even the darkest days. Those who knew her will forever remember the way her beautiful smile illuminated every room she entered and how her laughter echoed like music in their hearts. Her dazzling blue eyes held the depth of oceans-inviting others into a world of kindness and love.

To those fortunate enough to cross paths with Liberty, she was more than just a daughter or sister or friend-she was a beacon of joy whose presence left an indelible mark on everyone around her. Her memory will live on in countless ways: in sunsets painted across the sky with radiant hues that remind us of her beauty; in rainbows arching gracefully after storms; in roses whose scent carries whispers of love; and in every gentle breeze that seems to carry echoes of her voice.

Libbie blessed this world with grace beyond measure-a grace that will continue to inspire all who loved her. Though we can no longer see or hear her physically, we will feel the comfort of her presence always: in moments of quiet reflection or bursts of unexpected joy. Her flame will never be extinguished but instead will burn brightly as a guiding light for those who carry forward the lessons she taught through example-to embrace each day fully, cherish every moment deeply, and live boldly.

Until we are reunited once more in eternity's embrace: Libbie, give big hugs to all our loved ones waiting for you. Your beauty continues to radiate here among us-we see it everywhere we look for you. And while we wait for that glorious reunion someday soon, may we honor your legacy by living as you did-with open hearts full of love.

Please join us as we celebrate the beautiful life of our sweet Libbie. Celebration of life services to be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Panorama Community School auditorium. Service to start at noon with meal and fellowship to follow in the school atrium. Family will be present from 11 until service starts for Libbie's friends to share memories among each other and the family. Libbie has requested that those in attendance for the celebration to wear pink.
