Lidia Najera

Lidia Najera of Dallas, Texas, passed away on June 16, 2014 at the age of 59 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 29, 1954 in Madera, Chihuahua, Mexico. Lidia was a pillar to her family. She was lovingly married for 44 years to her husband, the late, Rene Najera. She was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was the queen of her kitchen and enjoyed spending time sharing her delicious meals with her family. She loved to travel and often visited her native Chihuahua. At 59, Lidia leaves a legacy of kindness and love in the hearts of her family and everyone she knew.

Lidia is survived and lovingly remembered by her children, Selene Najera, Cesar (Dolores) Najera, Rene Najera, and Arturo (Maria and Lidia) Najera; grandchildren; Lidia, Jennifer, and Bianca Gonzalez, Anika, Cassandra and Cesar Najera, Alexandra, Rene Jr., Elizabeth and Ruby Najera, and Arturo, Esperanza, Tony, Maria, Liliana, Rene, and Yareli Najera. She is also lovingly remembered by siblings, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. in the Calvary Hill North Mausoleum Chapel in Dallas. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
