Lola's amazing spirit has been an inspiration to me since the very first day I met her, almost two years ago. After spending the most amazing summer together in Pennsylvania, I always felt that we were connected at the heart. She has gotten me through some tough times in my life, and I will carry her spirit with me. Know that my prayers are with you and your family, and I look forward to seeing you when you are in San Antonio.

My heart is broken for all of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you of course. I do know that you are struggling to understand as we all are, I want you to know.....We are NOT supposed to understand! Those of us with good hearts and a conscience are not supposed to understand those who do not have either!!
I wish i had the words that could give you comfort, words that could heal your hearts and your souls, words that would subside your anger, words to help you get through this horribly difficult time, a time that most of us could not even imagine going through..... I was deeply saddened to hear of Liette's tragic death! My heart and prayers go out to you. I will always remember Liette as a well-behaved and happy little girl who came to work with her mother and then walked to school. In the afternoons I remember a dedicated mother watching for her daughter to walk up the sidewalk so that she would know her little girl was safe. From what I have read, you both did a great job, that little girl grew up to be a very talented lady. I can't imagine the pain you must being going through. May God be with you and give you comfort and strength as you struggle to understand such a deep loss.
