Lila Mae Welch - Greenville, SC Lila Mae Stansell Welch, 82, of 209 West Belvedere Road, wife of the late Robert Alvin Welch, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Hospice House of the Upstate in Anderson. Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Roy and Mattie Manley Stansell, Mrs. Welch was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Mrs. Welch is survived by a daughter, Sandra W. Crawford and her husband John of Easley; two sons, Daniel Welch and Ray Welch, both of Greenville; six sisters, Mary Hodgden, Ruth Watkins, Dorothy Russell, Patricia Durham, all of Greenville, Martha Murphy of Columbia and Shirley Jones of Honea Path; three grandsons, Thomas Crawford of Soler, Spain, Russell Crawford of Greenville and Joe Motsinger and wife, Angela, of Clover; three great-grandchildren, Andy Motsinger, Julia Motsinger and Jarren Motsinger. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with Father Dac Tran officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at home of Sandra and John Crawford, 208 Court Drive, Easley, SC 29642. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
