It was a pleasure to know Lillian and reflect on this wonderful woman a year after her passing.I was introduced to Lillian by my Friends Joe Romano and Richard D'Arcy when visiting them in Rancho Mirage in 2001.She had a great sense of humor and was full of life. Upon moving here in 2002 I would run into Joe in town and ask how Lillian was and if she was'nt a few steps behind he was on the way over to pick here up.I can only hope that I can have as much energy and fun during my senior years. My sympathy goes out to her family and all who's world was a "Better Place" when you were with her.

I met Lillian through her dearest friends, and "adopted son's" Richard D'Arcy and Joe Romano, several years ago now. They loved and cared for her so much, as she loved them. She will be greatly missed by all...she was a great woman and a lady in the utmost sense of the word. Always a smile and loads of fun...she was greatly loved. She will hold a special place in the hearts of all of us who loved her forever.

We met Lillian the first time we went to California to visit my son, Jamie, Joe and Richard. She was a wonderful person to talk to and to get to know . I wish we could have spent more time with her to get to know her better, but the time we did spend with her was good times.
She will be sadly missed by all.

Kenny and Thea,
My heart goes out to both of you. The family get-togethers at Lillian's house were great. I'm honored to have been in the family for almost 27 years. Good times and fantastic memories will always be with me. Your Mom was a great lady.

Sorry to hear of Lillian's death.
She was part of our California family, a great "adopted Mother" to Richard and Joe and a good personal friend.
We remember celebrating her 80th
birthday a scant 5 or so years ago and sharing part of our California vacations, every time we came out.
She was one Hell of a Lady and we will miss her.
Please accept our condolances on your and our mutual loss. We loved her too.

I met Lillian through her 2 incredible, loving friends Joe Romano and Richard D'Arcy. She was a very special, wonderful lady. Joe and Richard brought her to my annual "Super Bowl Party" this year and she won $400! She was so excited. Also, she made 2 beautiful silk pillows for my office. Joe and Richard made sure to include her in dinners, parties, etc. She was a big part of their lives and she knew she could always count on them. I am very fortunate have met such a lovely lady. She will be missed by all.

In the storm
Stands the white rose
tumultuous waves
of destruction abound her
Yet tall is the white rose
strong in the face
Of the sensed doom around her
And she does not bow down
Pure is the white rose
In the compost earth
growing eternal strength
in the nights that so hurt
I see not the white rose
She is so far away
But I long to protect her
But only the words can I say
So I send her my words
And my poets heart
To help her when
there is hope to see her through
Be Strong little flower
Your heart will guide true
And as long as you want
I will always talk to you
My prayers are with her family. Joe and Richard shared many laughs with her and I was blessed to share a few on my own with Lillian. What a wonderful lady we all should learn from her!

The desert has lost a titan of the design industry. Her southern charm, and personal style will not be soon forgotten. Reminders of Lil are all over my home - pillows, bedspreads, and drapes. I knew her for 30 years, and relied on her as the finest workroom in Southern California. Her quality was exceptional, and her hand finishing extraordinary! She made me and every other designer she worked for look fabulous. She had a heart of gold and in my opioion, she is irreplaceable.
Big kiss my friend, rest in peace.
You will never know how much you will be missed.
Love, Jon Piper

With my sweet Lill's passing, there will be an emptiness in my life that can never be filled. A saying that my deceased mother used to say was, "To know her is to love her." That is exactly how people felt after meeting Lill, and that is how she will be remembered. She was honest, trustworthy, nonjudgemental, and devoted to her family, friends, and business. She was like a mother and a sister to me, and I treasured our many conversations and the laughter that we shared. She was my trusted confidante, and I miss her dearly. She was a very caring person who opened her heart to many and had genuine empathy for others going through painful times. She exemplified the word "LOVE." For a woman in her senior years, Lill was a fun and funny person to be with, and she touched the lives of people of all ages. She made a positive impact on my life and will always be remembered with great fondness. I love her with all of my heart. My life was richly blessed for having her in it. To her family, I truly extend my condolences for your deep loss. Lillian was more special than words can express and loved by so many. I am thankful for having her in my life, but I know that she is in a better place, free from pain and discomfort. May she rest in peace now, wrapped in the Lord's loving arms after a long and precious life.
