Lillian Howard Obituary
She grew up in Sierra Madre, California, attended UCLA where she met Robert Howard and they married in 1953. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. They lived in Pasadena, Santa Rosa, and Rialto, California as well as Bountiful, Utah before settling in Livermore to raise their seven children.
She later went on to work at Livermore Cyclery, the family business, and was a lifelong parishioner at St. Michael's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Melinda), Peter (Robin), Jeffrey (Jani), John (Julie), Ann and Daniel as well as Gregory's wife Michele. Gregory predeceased her in 2018 and her husband of 40 years, Bob, predeceased her in 1993. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on December 11, 2025 at 10am at St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Donations in her memory may be sent to Hope Hospice or a charity of your choice.

Your mom was such a dear friend to my mom Bess Jost for many many years. They were in the Golden Friends prayer group together when it started with the nuns in the convent. After losing the majority of their members your mom invited the remaining few to come to her house to pray and socialize. Prayer group days were the highlight of their week. During Covid our moms often called on the phone to check up on each other. Your mom was a dear friend and she passed away just two weeks after my mom and now they will continue to pray for us from heaven. We took my mom to Heritage a few times to visit Jackie and they would sit close together and hold hands like dear old friends do. We will miss your mom´s warm smile and the love she shared with the Jost family.
