Lillian McFarland Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 18, 2011.
Lillian E. McFarland (nee Krug), of Feasterville, passed away on June 18, 2011, at the age of 87. Lil was a strong, determined woman, who was interested in everything. She was scared of nothing, even learning to swim, despite a fear of water, when she was in her 60’s. She was a Reiki Master, a Girl Scout Leader, and a school crossing guard with Lower Southampton Township for over 20 years. Her last job was as a receptionist at Century 21 Real Estate in Langhorne, where she worked into her 80’s. She was extremely proud to be a grandmom and great-grandmom. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. McFarland, her father, Fritz Krug, her mother, Elizabeth Goeddaeus Krug and her brother, Fred Krug. She is survived by her daughter, Linda McFarland Stern and her husband, John; her grandchildren, Erin Udvardy, Andrew Udvardy and his wife, Yolonda, and her great grandson, AJ Udvardy. Relatives and friends are invited to Lil’s Life Celebration on Thursday from 9:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Service 10:30 AM at Dunn/Givnish of Langhorne, 378 S. Bellevue Ave. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at Buckingham Valley Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice, who made Lil’s last days much easier for her and for the family.
