Lillian McGee Obituary
Lillian McGee, a longtime resident of Tappan, passed away peacefully at home on January 5, 2015. She was born on January 27, 1931 in the Bronx to George and Lillian Bauman and was a resident of Rockland County for 49 years. Lillian was a devout parishioner and secretary of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan and Dominican College in Orangeburg.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Jack, who died in 1997. She is survived by her children, Madonna Kelly and her husband Larry, George, Jack and his wife Heather; and her grandchildren, Brianna and Katherine Kelly, Martina and Ryan McGee, and Matthew, Michael and Kevin McGee.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, 10am at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, 3-7pm at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian's name to the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church (120 Kings Highway, Tappan, NY 10983) will be greatly appreciated.
