I was so sorry to hear this news from my sister who saw it in the paper. I loved Lillian like a mother when she befriended me initially at the History Department at Kent State, where I was first a student, then an employee there. Her friendship continued thru thick and thin. She was an extraordinary person and one I considered it a privilege to have known and counted as a friend. We are all better off for having known her and benefiting from her wisdom.

Janice,
Sorry to hear about your mother. She was special person that I remember that always had a smile on her face. Peace be with you and the rest of the Peach clan. We need to catch up.

Dear Jan and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you make your way through this final phase of your mother's journey. I know that the love, care and support she received from you were treasured at levels we don't completely understand. It is my hope that joyous memories, the love you share as a family, and God's blessing of comfort make your loss a little easier to bear.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Dear Jan and Family,
There is no better place to be, than in His presence, and I know you all know you are in His arms at this time. God knew what He was doing when Dorothy had to go to Bethany, and Lillian was just the most perfect roommate for Dorothy at that time. I don't think she would have been able to accept things had she been with anyone else. Your Mother, and you two ladies helped her to understand and accept what life has handed her. What a wonderful sweet and Godly lady your mother was, and it shows in all of you. God Bless!
Love, Bill and Dorothy Ackerman

I can still remember her SMILE and those great Chicken dinners with mashed potatoes and gravy on Sundays. We would sit around the table and talk of almost anything. Ir was always very welcoming to me on New Milford Road. I will always remember :-) To ALL of you I send my condolences and heart felt wishes to you and yours.

Jan,
So sorry to hear about your Mom. You provided her with such a beautiful and dignified life to the very end. Your love and care gave her many more years than would have been possible otherwise. Let God's peace wrap around you and take comfort that God now has her in his arms.

I worked with Lillian as a student secretary in the KSU History and Education Departments back in the 1970's. What a wonderful, classy and beautiful person she was to work with. She had a cheery, humorous spirit and was always upbeat. I reconnected with her just a few years ago for lunches with our other old secretary friends Alverta and Donna. SO glad I did. I miss her. My sincere sympathy to all of you.

For Jan and her extended Family: I did not have the pleasure of knowing Lillian but I have been a friend to Jan for over 25 yrs and no Mother could ask for a more loving or caring daughter. Lillian is at peace and although you will all miss her, the Lord has her in his arms. May he comfort all of you at this time of loss.
Sincerely, Cynthia Knox

It was an honor and joy to be with Lillian each day at Bethany. I miss her and her smile and the quiet times we had together. I know we'll all be together again someday. For now, God will provide you with His strength and your tears will be turned to joy on the great day we wait for to be with our beloved ones. Blessings on you.
