Ditto for me Comare Lillian.
Happy Birthday - Buon Compleano.
I was thinking about you all day yesterday. My Mom and I talked about you, too. We have so many unforgettable memories of you. You enriched our family and our lives more than you'll ever know. You will always live on in our hearts. Thank you for being you.
Love always and forever.....

God bless you Lil. Thanks for taking us to the Pirate game when we were kids. You were a good person on this earth and I hope that you are with Zio together in heaven.

"Comare" Lillian was a very big part of my childhood and she also influenced my life. We lived 4 houses down from Lil and "Zio" Anthony. My parents came from Italy and did not speak English.
They became friends with Lil because she was Italian and could understand them. My parents chose them as godparents for my brother, Tony. Lil taught us to speak English when we were of school age since my parents could not. She also had the nicest penmanship which I emulated and whenever someone comments me on my handwriting, I think of Lil. And she taught me how to wrap presents the proper way - from her job at Hornes in East Hills Shopping Center. They took me and my brother to West View Park every year for Zio's company picnic since their son, Bobby was grown and married.

They were a part of every family celebration we had. Our extended family also welcomed them as part of our family. And in my heart, they were family.

I have many, many fond memories of Lil and will carry them in my heart forever. I love you Comare Lillian.
