Lillian Taylor

Today is Lillian's birthday. She would have been 88 years old. Lillian was a fun-loving, energetic, friendly person. She spent most of her time playing bingo, making cards and taking day trips at the West Sac Community Center. Lillian made many friends there. She never met a stranger, especially if that person was with a child or dog. She loved both.

Lillian also spent time at the Golden Days Adult Program, where she had meals, played games, exercised, and of course made friends. She will be missed by all.

Lillian spent 17 plus years volunteering for the Foster Grandparent Program and received numerous awards for mentoring children. She felt honored being able to help children to acquire better reading skills.

Lillian is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Smith, and a son, Anthony Wilson, both of whom resides in Virginia. She is also survived by a daughter, Patricia Tyree, who resides in California. Lillian is also survived by her oldest and dearest friend, Ernestine Anderson.

Lillian leaves a legacy of family, and she was proud to be the matriarch. She has 6 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, all residing in Virginia. She also has 4 grandchildren including spouses, 6 great-grandchildren including spouses, and 3 great-great-grandchildren who reside in California.

Per Lillian's request, no services will be held. To honor her passing, donate to any organization that helps a child or a dog.
