Mrs. Levy was my farourite teacher. I was lucky to have her as teacher in 1966/67. She used the Canadian Centennial celebrations to install in me a love for Canadian history.
I'll always remember how she talked about Canadian authors as if she knew them personally. I'm sure the authors would have remembered and loved meeting Mrs. Levy. Her energy and love for life was infectious.
In classes she was firm and definitly in control. No one in her class wanted to findout what a Nova Scotia backhand was. But her love of the material and the kids, shined through. Mrs. Levy expected great things from all of us.
Mrs. Levy was a great Albertan and her 2 long carreers as a teacher and Sunshine Singers director have positively impacted the lives of us all.
Thank you Mrs. Levy

Dear Family of Mrs. Thelma Levy
My Mom (Alice Brittain) sang with Mrs. Levy for many years in the Strathcona Seniors Choir in Edmonton. Mom loved her very much not only as a director but also as a friend. Thank you for sharing her for so many years with so many others who loved music as much as she did. Her personality lit up many lives over her 101 years.
