The Doherty family would like to thank everyone who sympathised, helped and supported them during their recent loss. Lily was a loving wife to the late Brian, and dear mother to Gerard, Brian, Paul and the late Noreen, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Thank you to all those who attended the wake and funeral, visited the house, sent mass cards, wreaths and offered words of comfort.

A sincere thank you to all the Doctors, medical, nursing and admin staff at Clarendon medical for the care they provided to Lily over the years, we would also like to thank the Cancer unit in both the City Hospital and Altnagelvin for the care that they provided to Lily during her illness.

Thank you to Fr Joe Gormley and Fr Daniel McFaul for the funeral mass and the pastoral care that they provided.

We would also like to thank Bradley and McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their compassion and sensitivity shown throughout the wake and funeral, everything was carried out with the utmost dignity and respect.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt appreciation. A mass will be said for your intentions. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.

Lily's Month's mind mass will be celebrated on Friday 26th November 2021 at 7.30pm at St Mary's Church Creggan.
