Lily Pearson Obituary
Mrs Lily Pearson of Springbank House, formerly of Windermere Road, Newbold, has died at Springbank House, aged 99. Born in Unstone, she was a lifelong resident of the district. Mrs Pearson worked at Robinson and Sons and was a member of Newbold Working Men's Club for many years. She enjoyed bingo, cooking, reading and spending time with her family and many friends. In later years she attended Tontine Road Care Group and made many friends there. A widow, she leaves two sons Trevor and Clive, daughters-in-law Phyllis and Ivy, six grandchildren Christine, Anthony, Denise, Tracy, Emma and Dawn and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Burial has taken at Boythorpe Cemetery. Funeral directors: Co-op, West Bars, Chesterfield. Tel: (01246) 220201.
