Lily POTTER

POTTER, Lily (nee Thompson). September 7, 1919 - February 18, 2004. It is with great sadness that we announce the mercifully quick passing of Lily Rita Potter at Queen's Park Care Centre after 4 years of excellent attention and concern. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Arthur Henry Potter; her daughter, Rita Solkin (husband Andrew) and granddaughter, Wendy. Her nieces Rose Jones, Barbara Sweeney, Beverly Boyce, Bernard Doherty, and Peggy Wargachuk, Mary Lynn Ciaralpi, and cousins Pat Whittacker and Eugene Connlin and their families will have special memories of times spent with Lily in their youth. She will also be remembered fondly by members of St. Francis of Assisi in St. Lambert, Qc., especially her very good friend, Therese Brown, and the ladies of the CWL of that parish. Funeral will take place at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Thursday, February 26, 2004 at noon.
