Lily Silva

SILVA - Lily Silva, age 92, formerly a resident of Belen, peacefully went to the Lord Tuesday February 22, 2011 at her home in Albuquerque surrounded by her children, grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nat G. Silva and daughter, Yvonne with child. Lily is survived by children, Frieda Worrall and husband Jerry of Albuquerque, Jo Baca and husband Frank of Yorba Linda, CA, Delbert Silva and wife Cathy of Albuquerque; grandchildren Mark Sachs of Albuquerque, Jeanine Sachs of Poway, CA, Henry Sachs and wife Stephanie of Orange, CA, Jeff Sachs and wife Judy of Albuquerque, Eric Sachs and wife Solange of San Diego, CA, Jennifer Sheets and husband Jeff of Costa Mesa, CA, Leslie Acevedo and husband Michael of Yorba Linda, CA, Tracy Warman and husband Brian of Anaheim Hills, CA, Pamela Bennett and husband Thad of Orange Hills, CA, Kevin Silva and wife Karen of San Clemente, CA, Kelly Thomas & husband Edward of Albuquerque, Justin Silva of Albuquerque; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Josephs on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Thursday February 24, 2011 7:00 PM at French Mortuary, 9300 Golf Course Rd, NW in Albuquerque with viewing beginning at 6:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated on Friday February 25, 2011 9:00 AM at St. Joseph’s on the Rio Grande Parish, 5901 St Joseph Dr. NW in Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lily’s hospice caregiver, Ambercare Foundation, PO Box 1610, Belen, NM 87002.
