My Dear Linda, keep watching over us, not long ago I discovered a great song by Castings Crowns titled No More Scars In Heaven, this song has brought me peace knowing that from the day God called you, you were no longer broken, all of you was healed and you were no longer in pain, we love and miss you, I just spent some quality time with your kiddos, you would be so proud of the young men you raised!!!! And of course your beautiful daughter Amber who is up there in heaven with you!!!! Linda we love you!! Until we see you again

My Beautiful friend is missed every day!! I got a tattoo on my upper right arm in her honor with her favorite saying Lord Bless You and Keep You Safe , not a day went by that when her kids and just anybody saying goodbye as they hugged and kissed her, she never failed to give us her blessing. Im always asked about my tattoo and so the story goes that we met in high school, one day I invited her to come have lunch during school break and that day was the beginning of the most beautiful beautiful relationship between my brother and Linda, four amazing boys and a beautiful daughter and until the the day our Lord called her home, Ruben was with her by her side, Two peas in a pod, a dedicated husband through her toughest days!!! LINDA we will ALWAYS hold you close in our hearts!!!!

As it approaches one year since the loss of my mom, I would like to thank everyone who posted sweet messages about her on her obituary. I leave it open on my phone and some times when I think about her I will read some of the heartfelt stories about her. It always makes me cry, but in a good way. I miss her soooo much. NaNa's genuine love for everyone and her love for Jesus influenced so many. Mom is miss you so so much! Lord Bless You and Keep You Safe!

My condolences and sympathy to the Arteaga and Faulk families! I only knew Linda when we were classmates at Russell Elementary together in the late 60s. I can't remember if she was in all of my classes when I moved here in '67 or not. I know there was at least one year where we were in the same class, but I'm not sure which year. If she had Miss Zapata (now Mrs. Rodriguez) in third grade, Mrs. Tetreau in fourth or Mrs. Diaz in fifth, then I was one of her classmates. I lost touch with her when she went to Stell Intermediate and I went to Central for sixth grade. I mention this for the time reference in Linda's life and to say that when I saw Friday's paper with Linda's obituary, tears came to my eyes all these years later. What does that say about Linda's impact even as a young girl? She was fun to be around in school, and in general, a very nice kid. I can't remember any particulars, though, I just remember how good I feel about her friendship at school now that I think of her. She was a good classmate, and I enjoyed knowing her then. I pray that the Lord Jesus will comfort you in the peace that only He can give during this difficult time of physical loss.

Bobbye Ann my prayers and condolences to you and family. I always wondered how I would feel if my children went before I do. The comfort we have is that we will see them again in heaven. God is so good!

We were so sorry to hear of Linda's passing.I have very fond memories of the Arteaga family. I was Austin's teacher when he was 3 years old and he was such a delightful little boy. My prayers go out to Ruben and children.

Linda was such a beautiful woman inside and out. Even though I haven't seen her in years, I can still remember her laughter and her genuine love of God. I can see her now enjoying His Presence and soaking in His Peace. I pray for the peace that passes all understanding to comfort the family and friends she has left behind. I love you all.

Linda was a very special person, always a smile on her face and her angelic voice will be sorely missed but I know she will take heaven by a storm with all of her talents. Our prayers and thoughts for all of the Faulk and Linda's family.

My life was brighter when Linda was a member of our WM group at First Assembly of God in Hammond, LA. I cherish her memory and we enjoyed raising our families together.
