You were the first woman I ever saw that rode her own motorcycle! I loved that. I have so much to say. I will always think of you when I ride- I remember you telling me "I felt so empowered" leading us, coming back from 'Heels and Wheels'.Somebody almost got a ticket! I will do the 2011 ride for you. Black Magic at my side. :0)

For over 30 years, from Best Foods through Unilever, John, Linda, and I have been friends. In all this time, despite the many challenges faced by Linda, she was always the same cheerful, positive, and determined person. She always wore a smile and gave a warm greeting or comment regardless of her personal health crisis. Linda’s positive outlook on life and her fierce determination to battle her cancer should be a model for all. Linda faced life with energy and optimism, and she dedicated her final years on earth encouraging others to do the same. God Bless you, Linda. You will be missed.

I miss seeing Linda walking Abby. We were neighbors for almost 25 years. I admire her strength while fighting the demon cancer and for her work at City of Hope.

We were lucky enough to know Linda through her mother, Pat. Linda was such a cheerleader and great supporter of the Relay for Life in Moreno Valley. She, and the many others, is why we do what we do. Thank you, Linda, for keeping us focused. We know you no longer suffer, but it's hard to say good-bye. Thank you for being such a blessing to so many.

Linda and John have been good friends for over 30 years - that's a lot of great memories, good times and life changes. I will always be amazed at Linda's determination in fighting her cancer and how she made each new treatment or ordeal sound like no big deal. She had so much strength and passion for life. She loved her family so much and was a giving friend to so many. She touched a lot of lives and will be greatly missed. My love to John, Pat, Laurie, Bruce and the rest of the family.

I will always remember the first day I met Linda and how she was not only an inspiration to me, but to so many others. It was through Linda's efforts that I became involved in volunteering for National Cancer Survivors Day, The Speakers Bureau and so much more. I will always remember her courage and most of all her encouraging smile.

I extend my deepest sympathy and my prayers are with the entire Baginski family.

Linda was such a light to so many. I remember seeing her happy, sparkling eyes for the first time and knew we would connect on many levels: as women, as patients, as survivors, as friends. I was honored to have served her and Jeannie's department for four years and got to be called "the other Linda B." I am filled with sadness at our loss. My heart goes out to John and the entire Baginski family.

Linda was one of the dearest friends that I have had in my life. One of the ones that you count on your fingers. We were partners at City of Hope for over 10 years. Linda taught me so much about how to live life and how to leave this life with dignity. Her last gift to me was a book of photos of my amazing retirement party she helped organize on my behalf. Her message to me is to always Live, Laugh & Love. My heart is sad that I will no longer have her to talk to and try and solve the worlds woes. But I do believe I will see her again. I am sure she is busy organizing the Pink Links Ladies in heaven. John you were a champion husband and the best care-giver I have known. May God comfort you John, Bruce, Kristin, Pat, Laurie & Eric. She adored each of you so much.

Love,

"Wildflowers"

Oh, lay my ashes by the river bed.
Lay them where the wildflowers grow
and the river flows.
Spread them out among the flowers and trees so they may be swift up by a gentle breeze.
And when we are apart you will see my heart where the wildflowers grow
near the Kern River as it flows.

Dear Family and Friends of Linda's:

When I read Linda's own words in our City of Hope book Writing for Wellness: A Prescription for Healing, a book that came from a class started through Linda's efforts, I feel they could have been written for her. She wrote them in tribute to the late Hattie Anderson and entitled the poem:

New Sunrise
She lay to rest when the moon was full. A life abundant and rich and deep. Her measure declared by Love all around. Comfort covered as she went to sleep. Peace fell on her as sunset approached. Her new sunrise awaits. She will carry on her glorious call. Inspiration at the Gate. --by Linda Baginski

I met Linda through John when we worked at Nutrilite. I will always remember the fun our group had together whether it was skiing at Mammoth,Friday night Happy Hour at Heroes or all the times we got together to celebrate life events. Linda (and John) were there for me when my husband was sick and their support and guidance was amazing. Although distance finally separated us, Linda was still dear to my heart. One phone call with Linda and it felt like I had never left. I will miss you, Dear Friend.

I first met Linda eight years ago, at the beginning of my own cancer journey. She took me under her wing, and held my hand through it all. She introduced me to "Pink Links" and gave me the courage to face the challenges ahead of me.

Linda was amazing! When her cancer recurred, she continued to demonstrate the hope that she inspired, she never wavered!

My life would not have been as rich without her in it. I count myself lucky to have been able to call her my friend.

The world is a better place because Linda was in it. She will be missed by so many.

To borrow this closing from Linda...
Love and Always Hope,
Marian

Linda was one of those people that when you met her (and John), it felt like you had known them forever. Her spirit and enthusiasm, her courage and her bright disposition made being around her, whatever the event, fun and exciting. She was instrumental in getting us to look outside ourselves, and inspired us join in the fight against that horrible disease that ended up taking her from us. It will not be the disease, or her fight against it that defines Linda in us though, it will always be her loving heart. I'm sure her spirit will be with us forever.

The first thing you noticed about Linda was her beautiful smile. But after getting to know her, you realized that the beauty truly radiated from within. We also met Linda through San Gabriel Valley HOGs just a few years ago - but soon felt we had known her much longer. She is greatly missed. Our thoughts are with her family, and we pray that they find peace and comfort in their wonderful memories of Linda.

Linda was a very special part of our lives. Words alone can not truly portray the beauty that was Linda. There will always be an emptiness in our hearts. We will miss the way she always lit up a room with her radiant smile. Her courage and determination to live her life to the fullest was an inspiration to all. She will forever be missed.

Linda always had a way of cheering and inspiring everyone she met. Many cancer patients are alive today because of the hope she gave them. She will certainly be missed by everyone that knew her.
