Linda BASSIL Obituary
After gracefully and peacefully yielding to cancer, it is with deep regrets we announce that on April 25, 2015, at the age of 58, Linda Ann Bassil passed away. She was born in Ottawa at the Civic Hospital. She will be joining her parents Jack and Maxine and brothers Eric and Peter. Her memories will live on with Ian and Jeanne-Marie, Jessica, Lorraine, Ashley and Daniel, Ryan, Russell, Greg, plus many U.S. relatives and friends. Her compassion and kindness will be missed by all those that were touched by her presence. A visitation service will be held at the Brighton Funeral Home, Brighton Ontario (613) 475-2121 on May 2, 2015 between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Capital Memorial Gardens on Prince of Wales Drive. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society is prefered.

Linda will be remembered and loved by all of us here in NC and Va. We loved her visits and she was so quiet and sweet. She was our Canadian cousin and will be missed!
