So sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that God's Son felt the pain and sorrow that death can bring. He gave way to tears after the death of his friend Lazarus.
John 11:35 We weep along with you. His example was written in the Bible to give us hope.

So sad that Linda is gone. I do have some good memories about Linda while growing up at VSDB. I do know she love to teach students which is showed that she is loved by many former students she taught at VSDB. She loved her family, she love to share the news about Richmond area as I am currently reside in Henrico County. I never forgot what she had done during the years involved in VSDAA. She did very good job planning 175th Anniversary reunion at VSDB almost 3 years ago. I consider Linda Blehm a true friend.

I am so sad in my heart . Our school has lost a wonderful teacher, who loved all the students, and she in turn was a favorite of many. Staff loved her as well. She always was willing to help in any way she could. A wonderful part of our team, making learning fun and making sure the students got the best education they could possibly get. We all miss her... And she will always be in our hearts. my prayers to her family....

To the Blehms, Linda (LB) was a wonderful, beautiful and smart woman who were devoted as a long-time teacher to VSDB, as a husband to herlove of her life in Steve and last but important of all, as a mother to her 3 daughters. Learning of her death was quite devastating and you all have my deepest condolences. LB is now with my parents, probably catching up with the "news" out there.

Steve and girls, what a sadness I felt when I read the obits yesterday. Linda was a beautiful person and strong. I saw her a one of our postal banquet , she was so happy that they got to go to new zealand to see their grandchild and daughter. Just beaming with love over the baby. Steve my heart goes out to you, cause the love you two shared was awesome. I remember you shaving your hair off in honor of Linda when she had the bout with chemo. What a wonderful man, keep that goodness in your heart, I know it will be hard but always remember the good times, your beautiful girls and their families that you two raised . What an inspiration to all. God be with you in the coming days that lie ahead, stay strong . She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. God Bless and my prayers to the family at this difficult time. Sincerely Jeanette and Rusty Messick, your former postal worker buddy .

Oh my dear Sarah,

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. It was so wonderful to be with you two recently, and see that love and trust between you. Linda had mischief in her eyes too, and I regret not being able to get in trouble with her in her anticipated retirement. She was so cute telling about the running jokes she had with the staff at VSDB. The world is a poorer place now, and I grieve with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time! I would like to share what a wonderful person Linda was to me and how blessed I feel to have known her! Linda was my cooperating teacher at the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind in 2013 and taught me so much during student teaching! She was amazing and I enjoyed watching her bring stories to life through ASL and seeing the children's faces light up! I will forever be grateful for how much she has taught me and helped shape me into the teacher that I am today! Sending prayers and hugs to her husband, children and family at this difficult time!

Linda was always such a strong model for me, whenever I had the chance to work with her. I am saddened that I didn't get more opportunities to work with her and learn from her. My heart breaks for her family, her friends, and every piece of her family that grieves for her at VSDB. She will be sorely missed and forever cherished. My condolences and love go out to her family through this sad time.

There are no words to express how much Linda will be missed. She was a dear friend, co-worker, and someone I had come to depend on to encourage me when I was feeling lost. I will never forget her smiling face or the smiley face she always shared with us during meetings : ) Linda will forever be the heart and sole of VSDB and her memory will linger on with us.
