Linda G. Bryant, 56, of Lake Park, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at South Georgia Medical Center. Linda was born March 31, 1953 in Atlanta, a daughter of Bessie Adams King and the late Early M. Hunt, Jr. She was a member of Ousley Baptist Church, a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, she loved spending time with her family, was a great cook, and entertained herself by playing on the computer.In addition to her husband of 41 years, Larry Bryant, Sr. of Lake Park, she is survived by their children, Alisa Sirmans and her husband Tommy of Valdosta, Larry "Bo" Bryant, Jr. and his friend Mary Franklin of Lake Park, and Duke Bryant and his wife Nikki of Valdosta; five grandchildren, Ashley Sanders and her husband Justin of Valdosta, Aubrey Bryant of Echols Co., Trevor Sirmans of Valdosta, Whitney Bryant of Echols Co., and Karrie Bryant of Lake Park; her mother, Bessie King of Valdosta; two brothers, Larry Hunt of Valdosta, and Terry Hunt and his wife Ellen of Kansas; three sister-in-laws, Katie Burch and her husband Ronnie of Hazlehurst, Joy McCann and husband Jerry of Valdosta, and Betty Jean Joyce of Valdosta; one brother-in-law, Toy Bryant of Valdosta; and many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Hunt Wisenbaker, and a brother, Lamar Hunt.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 in the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home of Valdosta, with the Rev. Dillard Ensley officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Colquitt County, with the Rev. Curtis Eason officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. Larry and Family; I am so sorry for your lost. Linda was the most loving, careing, understanding freind anyone could have. She is going to be missed greatly. It is an honor just to get to know her.
