Linda Byrd

I am so sorry to hear that Mrs.Byrd has left us she was not only my favorite teacher but a special person and she will be missed, my love and prayers go out to the family.

My trips to Glade Spring always included a visit with Linda. She was such a special person who will surely be missed. My heart goes out to Charles and her family. May God be with you at this time of sorrow.

I have not lived in Glade Spring, VA for many years. However, reading that Linda has passed from this life breaks my heart. My memories from having had Linda as my teacher at Glade Spring Elementary are vivid. She was a really fun person.
God Bless you all. I know she will be missed. I pray God comforts each of you and your family in the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Byrd. She was one of my favorite teachers at Glade Spring Elementary. One of my fondest memories of her was when she would sneak into her closet and eat cookies during class. I will cherish the memory of her always.

I will truly miss Mrs. Byrd. She was one of my favorites. She really cared about her students and knew how to make learning fun. May God continue to bless and strengthen her family. This is not goodbye..it's only until later.

Fond memories of a 7th grade classroom have filled my mind this morning. A teacher who looked down on no one...who treated all the same is standing at her podium, smiling at each of her students, eager to help. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Byrd!

My heart goes out to the family of Mrs. Linda Byrd. She was my 7th grade teacher and she was the best! She touched so many lives and she left a lasting impression on mine. I loved Mrs. Byrd and spent alot of time around and with her in my younger years. Charlie, Tony, Darlene and Sydney, you are all in my prayers. May God comfort you during this difficult time. She and my dad can sit in Heaven and watch over us all. It truly saddens me to hear of her loss. She was a great lady, teacher, wife, mother, sister and I bet the best grand-mother.
