Linda Cassandra Owens-Thomas entered into eternal rest at University Medical Center on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the age of 52. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Linda was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School Class of 1988, and she attended Jackson State University. Linda was employed with Martin Berhman Charter School as a paraprofessional. Loving wife of Adam J. Thomas, Jr. Devoted mother of Adam J. Thomas, III, Terra Owens, Christopher (Charde) Davis, Brandon Davis, Amanda (Torin) Weber, and Aalyhia Thomas. Grandmother of Jarrett Johnson, Jr., Wriley Collins, Cherish Davis, Chloe Davis, Christina Davis, and Jyhrie Randall. Daughter of the late Lee Clark and Almonia Reeves. Sister of Kenneth (Doris) Reeves, Fredrick (Kim) Owens, Terry Owens, Janice Clark, and the late Johnny Clark, Jerome Owens, and Larry Owens. Aunt of the late Johnnie Watson, Lonnie Watson, and Jerome Davis. Daughter in law of Gwendolyn D. Thomas. Sister in law of Tara (Carl) Antoine, Sr., Kazondra Thomas, Eric Thomas, Sr., and Lavar (Charone) Thomas, Sr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Victory Christian Center International, New Millennium Community Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Carr Drugs, Martin Behrman Charter School, and ACSA, are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Victory Christian Center International 411 Opelousas Ave. Algiers, LA on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Bishop LeRoy Phoenix officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
