Linda Gail Clark, née Leach, passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 75, in Crockett, Texas. Born on May 10, 1949, in Greenville, Mississippi, Linda was known for her deep love for her family and her passion as an avid Steelers fan.

Throughout her life, Linda was the heart of family gatherings, often hosting memorable Christmas parties and organizing multiple family reunions. Her role as a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was cherished by all who knew her. Linda's ability to listen and provide support made her a great friend, leaving a lasting impact on many. Her legacy of love, kindness, and community will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate to know her.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kevin; her children, Kathy Jones (Joey), Kristy Clark (Lyle), and Jim Bob Shelton III (Erin); seven grandchildren; uncles Charles Homan, Marvin "Bubba" Homan, and Robert Homan; aunts Elizabeth "Libby" Rork and Christine Roberts; sisters Virginia Loyland and Mary Moore; and cousin Faye Shuffield Chrisman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oran and Orene Leach; brother, James E Leach; and sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Sturdivant.

A graveside gathering to honor Linda's life will be held at the Harding Family Cemetery in Moscow, Texas, on Saturday, July 27th at 11 am, with a gathering to follow at the Clark residence in Crockett, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Roethlisberger Family Foundation.

When Linda attended Sid & Emma's wedding last June, I never thought it would be the last time we would see each other. I am so glad there was time to sit and talk in the middle of the wedding hubbub. What can I say about Linda? A good friend that I didn't see often recently, but someone I always knew was there when I needed her. Someone I could pick up with where we left off, even if it had been years.. Linda and Kevin were "family"... There for me when Sid had open heart surgery, helping at Sid's crazy preschool birthday parties, taking care of Sid when I needed someone, dinners at her house, an open invite to family reunions, and there for me in Florence, AL the year my world crashed in around me. Linda would get in that pickup and drive hundreds/thousands of miles when I needed her. There is a special place in heaven for people like Linda.

When I was little I got to stay the weekend with her and Kevin it was my first time staying with anyone outside of my genetic family cried my eyes out for a while the Linda said "you can either cry your eyes out all weekend or you can blow you nose and we can have a good time". We of course had a great time.

I loved our time together on my days off. It was always just the two of us. The talks we had are some of my most precious moments. I'll miss you Aunt Linda.
