Linda Sue Colombi

Linda S. Colombi (Fairchild), 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, February 16, 2024. Linda was born in Lansing, MI to Elmer and Jean (Smith) Fairchild. She was a graduate of Euclid High School where she met her high school sweetheart, Clay Colombi. Together they raised 4 beautiful daughters. Nana or Nana Banana, was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandsons, and one soon to be great-granddaughter. Linda was an avid gardener with the greenest thumb. She had a love for animals, especially Rotties and black bears. She loved to cook, shop at Sofos, and send countless recipes to her family on Facebook. Linda liked her coffee black with a splash of water, her Coors Light with a pinch of salt, and would tell you how it was, even when you didn't ask. She was a fighter who loved and cared so deeply for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Jean and Elmer, Son; Clayton Richard Jr., and Brother; James Fairchild.

She is survived by her daughters; Dawn Colombi, Niki (Chris) Pepper, Melissa Broadwater (Gary Schutt), Tiffany Greenlee (Jerry Trent), and her sister; Nan Johnson.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Karmanos Cancer Institute, Toledo Clinic, and UTMC ICU and 4th floor for their support in the final days of Linda's journey.
