I worked with Linda at Parks and Recreation in Juneau in the 90s. She was an upbeat person, always ready to encourage new ideas. Just being in her presence was fun. My condolences to her family.

Linda was a big presence in Juneau during her time here, and generous with sharing knowledge. Her kayak cookery classes at the kayak symposiums, her kayak cookery book, and I also took a UAS writing class from her, that evolved into her leading a team of us to update the Alaska Wilderness Milepost one year.

Linda would have loved this memory of her time in Juneau, her devotion to cats, kayaking, and her work with Public Radio. Life just doesn't get much better.

Fantastic sister who always remembered birthdays and special Christmas present packages mailed to you.
Showed me in person, several times, with my kids the way of life in alaska adventures.
