Linda Dodson Obituary
Mrs. Linda Dodson, 60, of Fulton formerly of Union City, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Services will be held at noon on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Vine Street Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Linda Sue McElrath Dodson was born into this world on June 2, 1962. She was born to Jesse H. McElrath Sr and Annie Louise Brown.
Linda was a loving and carrying person who would do anything for you if she could. Linda was an active grandmother who loved and cherished her grandchildren, they meant the world to her.
She was a graduate of Union City High School and a lifelong employee of The Waters in Union City. Linda loved life and she was always the life of the party. Linda married Kevin Dodson on September 17, 1983, in Union City, Tennessee.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two children, Kahara and Kierra Dodson; her grandchildren: Kabrian Burton, Kamryn Dodson, Darryl McNeal, III, Mi’kel Smith; her brothers: Jeff, Tommy, Richard McElrath and Jessie Foulks; a sister, Roslyn McElrath and her bonus daughter, Cocoa Broadway; one sister-in-law, Ruth Anne McElrath; one aunt, Lara B. Mounday and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by both parents: her husband, Kevin Dodson; sisters: Regina K. Steele, Corene Foulks and Doris Jean Higgins; and brothers: Evan, Jesse H. Jr, and James Steven McElrath.
