What a beautiful tribute to a very lovely lady. I was moved by the video tribute--she led a life that will carry on through generations of fond memories. I dearly enjoyed all me chats with Linda.

It was a blessing to know Linda and her ever giving and caring ways
She was truly remarkable in her special way of touching lives, both young
and old.

I grew up in Pocatello and my father worked at Hawks Transfer Company. The Hawkes family and the Nestlers shared many memories. I remember looking up to Lynda and David and thinking they were great examples. Not long ago, maybe a few years, I saw Lynda in the Idaho Falls Temple. She looked as young as ever. I am sorry that her family has lost a caring and loving person. She will be in your hearts forever.

As one of 4 kids at the time my dad was in the bishopric, Sister Lyon became our "church grandma", helping my mom take care of us during sacrament meeting. She was always attentive to our needs and loved us as if we were really her grandkids. I'm now in college and was still able to come back and visit when we came to Blackfoot, and Linda was always as loving and kind as ever. One day I hope to be even half the Christlike woman she was.

I was so sad to see this. I was in Red Hats with Linda for many years and we got to share some fun experiences together. We sang at the Christmas Tree Fantasy one year and we attended plays or movies with our red hats on. We took turns meeting in member's homes and just got to spend fun time together. Linda was such a sweet and gentle spirit. I was sorry to see she suffered from cancer in the end, but glad to read she was surrounded by loved ones. I always shared a chat with her at Kesler's Market. Every encounter with her was positive. My condolences.

Linda is such a special lady who I learned to love very much! I first got to know her in our LDS ward in Rose.
I was privileged to have her serve as an aid in my kindergarten classroom. She was so helpful. She loved the children and worked hard to help make their education a success. The children also loved her and looked forward to the days she was with us!
She talked often of her family and loved them so very much! She will be very much missed by her family and all of her friends!
My prayers and condolences go out to each of you!
