A mother to all the neighbourhood boys, Linda was fiercely proud of her own Graeme and Andrew. She was a fiesty, straightforward but always a kind and decent person. I am going to miss her.

Dear Graeme,Andrew and Families,
Linda's mother LeMoyne, brought her two daughters Linda and Laurel to Coronation for a visit each summer. As cousins Linda and I enjoyed adventures on the farm of her maternal grandparents, Jorgina and Andrew Landvik. We rode horses, helped with haying, played in the big barn, picked vegetables and saskatoons and explored the prairie landscape. It was a delightful time!
Linda fought a brave battle with her illness.
My thoughts are with you Graeme, Andrew and families in the loss of your Mom and Oma,
Cousin,
Heather

Linda had wit coupled with grace. Her eloquent speech and frank demeanour were truly a pleasure during TELCI board meetings. I am proud to be affiliated with her work and legacy. Rest in Peace.

I had the honour of sharing Yoga with Linda for the past two years. Even with the challenges of her illness she attended my classes two or more times per week with determination, humour and grace. I feel blessed to have known her and feel that in so many ways she was MY teacher. May Linda continue to inspire us all to enter each day with a generous heart and to serve the call of courage and love.
OM Shanti, Colleen

I served with Linda as a volunteer, where we were both members of the Board of Directors of TELCI.
Linda was always concerned about her community, and the broader world. She always took the time and made the effort necessary to make a positive change.
Linda was always up for a challenge, and even with her illness becoming more and more present in her life, she continued to work hard, and to make a valuable contribution.
Linda helped to make this world a little smaller, and more welcoming for everybody.
I'll miss her.

I first met Linda when we both taught at York St. Public School, many, many years ago. As a teacher, she always had her students' best interests at heart; as a friend, she was always kind, giving and supportive. She was a wonderful lady and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
