CARIBOU - Linda M. Guillemette, 67, passed away May 30, 2016 at Queens, NY following a brief illness. She was born in Caribou, May 9, 1949 the daughter of Raymond and Rose Marie (Gagnon) Dube.

Linda was a graduate of Caribou High School and then earned her degree in early childhood development. Linda loved to cook and enjoyed her time at Bert's Diner, then she owned and operated Linda's Place for a number of years. More recently, she was employed as an accountant at DFAS in Limestone where she was affectionately known as the "DFAS Mom."

She is survived by her longtime sweetheart, Wilmer Jackson of Caribou; her four children, Shannon Guillemette of Dayton, NJ, Ronald Guillemette of Caribou, Tina Guillemette of Orlando, FL, and Michelle Guillemette of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Brandon Parent and Alexis Guillemette; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 6 to 8pm on Friday, June 3, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Saturday at the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Ron Rosser, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com

Aunt Linda was an awesome lady! Her smile and love touched us. We will miss her but her love will be in our hearts always! Thank you God for letting us know her and be a part of her life. Rest in peace Aunt Linda for one day we shall see you again.
