Linda Lee Obituary
76 of Providence passed away at Elmhurst Extended Care on January 6, 2018. Born in Pawtucket, RI, a daughter of the late William and Katherine Graham Lee.
She graduated from Dominican College in New York and received her Master's Degree in Education from Providence College. She had been principle of St. Raymond's and St. Pius School in Providence and Holy Name School in Valhalla, NY. Linda finished her teaching career at Flynn Elementary School before retiring.
Linda leaves a brother, Patrick Lee and his wife Barbara of Charlestown, a sister, Mary Murphy of Providence, nieces and nephews, James Lee, Jennifer Bogutt, Marylee Verheggen, Jean Thurston, great nieces Lilly and Ella Verheggen, Laura and Eve Thurston.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Jan 20th at 11:30 in St. Pius Church,55 Elmhurst Street in Providence to which relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours Friday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman Street in Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Sisters of St. Domenic, 495 Western Highway, Bauvelt, NY 10913. Condolences may be left at monahandrabblesherman.com

Our condolences to Linda's family! Linda was a very special friend of our family (the Brochu's). My daughter just texted me that she was such a sweet, sweet, woman! We have such fond memories of her having dinner at Maureen and Charlies every Wednesday night as we all gathered together. She tutored my niece and had my son help her correct papers! She will be deeply missed.
