Linda was such a lovely (all southern) lady who we considered one of our TRUE Friends. We will truly miss her each and every day and she will live on in our hearts forever. Our thoughts and prayers are going out to the family in this time of grief and sorrow.

Ms. Linda was so special, a real tour de force with a heart of gold. She lived an amazing life and she was massively proud of her kids and grandkids. A beautiful lady inside and out, she will be remembered and celebrated. My deepest condolences to the whole family.

My heart breaks for all of Linda’s family. She loved you dearly. Linda and Bill were great friends when they were in Hot Springs and we continued to keep in touch when she moved to Louisiana. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I remember her from junior high. I was roughhousing in her house as we were working on something for the NSU Middle Lab, school dance decorations or something similar, as part of Kristy’s class. She must have seen the guilty look of fear on my face. She said something to the effect of, “I’ve dealt with boys worse than you for years. Don’t worry, just tone it down a bit.” She said it with, I don’t know, kindness is as close as I can come to describing it, but that doesn’t do it justice. That simple gesture has stuck with me as an example of how to carry one’s self for four decades. I doubt she realized the impact she had on people like me, but I’m confident she’s being rewarded for her selflessness today.

I've known Mrs. Lewallen since my teens; her son, Doug, and my brother were best friends. She was always very kind to me. I know the family will miss her deeply. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so very saddened to learn of the loss of my dear friend Linda. I have so many cherished memories of both Linda and Bill. I had planned to send her a birthday card, totally unnecessary now, because she is safely home with Jesus, and precious Bill. I will always love and miss them! One day all will be well with those who love and Believe in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Amen
