I worked with Linda for over 14 years at First Transit Savannah Ga. Linda was always nice and kind to me. I will remember her also for the beautiful quilt she made my granddaughter in October 2023. I will forever cherish the memories I have of Linda and will miss her dearly.

I like to refer to Linda and Lucy as "our CODA sisters". Our parents were all deaf and friends. So naturally we did a lot of the same activities as families, such as church, bowling alley for league nights, game nights w friends, so on.... Even though we didn't talk much through our adult years, we always kept in touch through social media, and there were phone calls both ways, as we all experienced each of the deaths of our own parents. Calls of support, Love, and prayers. I have deeply valued that we kept that bit of sisterhood all these years. Linda also had made a couple quilts for a couple of my older grand babies. One of them got drug around everywhere like Linus drug his blankie....My granddaughter named her blankie "B" and my goodness what a quilter she was to make such a beautiful blanket that withstood all that kid put it through! Well, anyway, I was shocked and sad to hear of her early passing. Though my heart is heavy, my spirit rejoices in her faith and knowing that death has no sting in heaven!
My deepest condolences to her kids, grand babies, sister, nieces, nephews, and all others who knew and loved her. Until we meet again, Linda...Have a dance with our folks for me!

Every year she came to town and stayed through christmas from the moment she stepped through the door my kids were all over her. They would make gingerbread houses and read books and play games drink hot cocoa they love there Nanna. But every year I would tell her to say just one more week the snow is coming and she just say heck no your crazy I'm not built for that anymore and all that just means I have to leave faster.

I know when I think about my mom there are countless memories that come flooding to mind some good some at the time I didn't like but everything she did was to make me the best person I could be and every day I teach my kids the same core values she instilled In me. She was a great woman hard headed I know where I get it from but she always taught us the right thing to do and shown us how much she cared and loved all her kids and grandkids. She was a light that touched many hearts and will be very missed form this moment on. But the memories of her will live on forever. She was a vibrant person always helping others over her self. She lived a great but short life. Every one's heart will be missing a pice without her here with us but knowing all the laughter and hugs she gave will help heal from the loss. I love you momma enjoy your party.

My first memory of Linda was when she was 4 years old, and her sister was Lucy. Their family joined the Silent Bible Baptist Church back then and continued in the church for many years. There's just too many memories to list...I'd be here forever with them all. We'd have so much fun together, just running around town, going out to eat and laughing at everything and nothing. LOL! She will certainly be missed. I'll see ya after while, hun. <3 <3
