LINDA MANNION Obituary
Age 68, born December 4, 1947, of Templeton, PA, formerly of Monroeville, passed away on August 10, 2016. Linda was the beloved wife of John "Jack" Mannion for 49 years. She was the loving mother of Heather (Scott) Lewis and John (Lisa) Mannion; dear grandmother to Madison Lewis and Sean and Emily Mannion. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Linda is also survived by her sister, Delores (the late Dennis) Truhar, Steven (Linda) Spielman; sisters-in-law, Theresa Zolyak, Maureen Mannion, Anncelene Gligonic; and brothers-in-law, Robert, Brian, Kevin and Glenn Mannion; also many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Shirley Spielman; and in-laws, John and Anna Mannion. After Linda's retirement from Mine Safety Appliances, Linda enjoyed winters in Florida and lived in her dream home on the Allegheny River. At her request, there will be no viewing. Please join the family, at a later date to be announced, for a celebration of the life Linda enjoyed so much. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ALS Association of Western Pennsylvania at alsa.org or VNA Hospice Services in Butler, PA at vna.com. The WM. O. PEARCE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Pitcairn, is assisting family with arrangements.

Chuck and I are saddened deeply by her death. She was always kind, loving and thoughtful and the world is sadder because she's no longer here with us.

My heart goes out to all of Linda's family. She was my best friend in grade school and junior high.Throughout the years we kept in touch and I will miss her deeply. She was a beautiful person inside and out.
