Linda McClellan Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 19, 2024.
Linda Pearl McClellan (Armstrong), 75, of Arrowsmith, IL, went into the arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ on February 16, 2024.

She was born to Festus R and Charlotte D (Daugherty) Armstrong, on December 2, 1948. Both of them preceded her in death.

Also preceding her were her brother Harold and two sisters, Festina and Debra Armstrong.

Her sister, Pamela (Armstrong) Taylor survives her.

Linda met and married John G McClellan on December 24, 1985. They settled in Arrowsmith, IL. Though they had no children together, they spent their lives raising children, loving their family and friends. Their love was endless.

November 24, 2010, John preceded Linda to the Lord. He took a big piece of her wth him, which I am certain has been given back to her.

Linda loved the lord with all her heart. She was so many good things, to a lot of people. She touched our hearts, minds, and left her imprints on her our souls. I know she's in God's Garden surrounded by cats and dogs, while watching the butterflies and hummingbirds fly, all the things that she loved.

Linda is survived by her Children:

Randall N Musgrave, Indiana.

Joshua E McClellan, Bloomington, IL.

Mechelle N McClellan-Briggs.

Theo C McClellan-Briggs,

Grandchildren:

Justin (Beatrix Haney) Breedwell, Saybrook, IL.

Lacie J P Robbins, Illinois.

Jesse Harms, Illinois.

Niece:

Christina L (Taylor) Dalton.

Great-Nephew:

Christian M Dalton,

Daughter-in-Law:

Angie L Perhay, Illinois,

Cousin:

Norma Valentine, Springfield, IL

She is also leaving behind a very Special Friend:

Nancy R Noble, Fort Wayne, IN.

There are numerous relatives and friends surviving her. Know that she loved you all and each and everyone of you were her family.

Linda is awaited in Heaven by her Brother-in-Law, William E Taylor, Jr

Memorial: A celebration of Linda's life, will be announced at a later date.

Her family was blessed to be able to have a living memorial with Linda. She had healing and loving exchanges with all if her loved ones. It was a beautiful experience and she went gracefully and peacefully to the Lord.

Charitable Donations:

Linda would love to know that all of her friends and family, would continue to care for those in need. Volunteer, contribute, encourage groups and organization to feed and clothe those in need. Make sure shelter is found for those that are lost, scared and abandoned. Keep watch over those that are confused and ill.

Love each other unconditionally.

"The bustle in a house
The morning after death
Is solemnest of industries
Enacted ;upon earth, -

The sweeping up the heart,
And putting love away
We shall not want to use again
Until eternity." ~ Emily Dickinson
