A friend of mine had Linda as a social worker when she was in foster care back in the 70s. She said Linda was the only person who believed her about her problems with bio family and was a rock for her during a horrible time. I also remember Linda when I worked for the state as a secretary. She was a kind, warm person. She was my favorite social worker when she came into the office. She treated everybody the same - with kindness and respect. RIP Linda you did a lot of good work on this earth.

My condolence to the family. Linda was full of life, enjoyed people. Friends who knew her, trusted her judgment and value her opinion. Jesus taught us to pray for God's Kingdom to come at Matthew 6:9,10. By means of his kingdom Government death will be no more. We all look forward to that time. We will never forget Linda

Linda was my social worker when I was a teen. She was kind and didn't judge. She was a good example to me. I never told her that. I wish I would have. Thank you.

Basketball, riding horses bareback (I chose Smokey because his back was closer to the ground while Linda rode the fastest horse like she was born to ride!), Buffalo Mine Road, round-up in Hatcher's Pass and listening to Moody Blues, turning 18 together (inside story); the memories are just flooding back. Even though our paths went different directions my time as Linda's friend made me a richer person with a wider vision and more understanding heart. My heart aches to know she has left this life so early. My sincere sympathies to Cande, Diane, Wendy, the rest of the family, and friends. Hugs to you all.

I worked with Linda for many years. What a pleasure. She was kind and compassionate and always able to find the humor in situations and always able to smile. I remember how much she loved mountain biking and she would often talk about her latest weekend adventure. I am so sorry to learn she is no longer with us. This world needs more people like her, in the workplace and in our lives. I am happy that I was able to see her this year and tell her how much I missed working with her.

Linda was an awesome person. She was a doer, she got things done. She loved life and people and traveling, biking
and golfing she Cande shared a love for.I recall one time she did a two week river tour at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. She had an adventures spirit. Her life was way too short, but she packed a lot into it while on earth. In Reno, Nevada while visiting her at the hospital, every nurse that came in, Linda would say, these are my sisters! And proceed to introduce us and say this is the first time we have all been together in 14 plus years! Linda was a fighter and she gave her all, she will be missed, thought of with love and long remembered.

Dear Moffitt family, I only worked with Linda for a couple of years while I was employed with the Court System. I truly enjoyed working with her and though she was a huge asset to the DHSS. She will be missed, but always remembered.

I am so saddened to hear of Linda's passing. Linda Moffitt, Linda Oberg and I were best friends for many years growing up in Palmer. Both of their mothers were like second mothers to me when I was unhappy with my own. I learned how to ride a horse on Linda M's farm, and when to show up at Linda O's farm when her mother was making donuts. Many many great memories!

I always liked working with Linda, she was very practical and truly did have the best interests of the kids at heart. She was a great gal. I wish she had more retirement time in before passing.

To the entire family, I send my most sincere sympathies. It is not easy for anyone to lose a sibling, much less at this young age. I did not know Linda, but was buddies with her Mom for many years, and of course Wendy through all the horse show activities.
May she rest in peace while the rest of you relish in those "pictures behind your eyes".

What a rich and rewarding life Linda had. I'll always remember how active she was in school when we were growing up. And I'll remember visiting the calves in the spring and sharing delight in their antics. She was indeed a special individual. I'm proud to have known her and grown up with her.
