Linda Kay Mongonia

Linda Kay "Eads" Mongonia, age 76, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and great grandmother, entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Her passing was unexpected, but her life was a radiant testimony of faith, love, and devotion to family.

Born to Manford "Mike" Eads and Mary Eads of Frankfort, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard and her precious granddaughter, Ariel, and is now reunited with them in Heaven.

Linda loved Jesus wholeheartedly and lived out her faith in the way she spoke, cared for others, and carried herself with grace and humility. Her prayers covered her family and friends, her words pointed others back to God, and her example of quiet strength and trust in Christ continues to inspire all who knew her.

For 58 years, Linda shared a beautiful life and marriage with her devoted husband, Antone "Tony" Mongonia. Their love was a shining example of commitment, partnership, and faithfulness. Linda delighted in being a wife, and she poured her heart into their marriage, standing faithfully by Tony's side through life's joys and challenges.

Together, they raised three children whom Linda adored: Jeffrey (wife Valerie), Kevin (wife Kristin), and Tonya Klingler (husband Daniel). Linda's love for her children was immeasurable. She supported them with encouragement, prayer, and wisdom, and she took joy in their accomplishments, both big and small. To her children, she was more than a mother, she was a guide, a cheerleader, and a constant source of unconditional love.

Her role as "Mimi" was one she cherished beyond measure. She treasured every moment with her grandchildren, Lauren (husband Evan), Dylan, Sabrina, Sebastian, Zackary, Gavyn, Auryeena, and Morgan. Each one was precious to her, and she loved celebrating their unique personalities, talents, and milestones. Linda was also blessed to become a great grandmother to little Eden.

Linda's love for her family was the heartbeat of her life. She found happiness in family gatherings, laughter around the dinner table, and the simple, everyday moments that built lasting memories. She created a home where everyone felt welcome, valued, and deeply loved.

Known for her gentle spirit and kind heart, Linda touched countless lives. She had a gift for making people feel special, and her warmth extended far beyond her immediate family. She was a light in her community, always ready with a smile, a prayer, or a helping hand.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in her honor on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Traders Point Christian Church, Northwest Campus, 6590 S. Indianapolis Rd, Whitestown, IN 46075. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate her life. Visitation will be 10am to 11am with a service following immediately afterwards.

Linda's legacy is one of faith, devotion, and love. Though her family grieves her absence, they rejoice in the assurance that she is now in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly. Her light will continue to shine through the lives of her husband, children, grandchildren, great granddaughter, and the many others blessed to have known her.

"Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.'" - Proverbs 31:28–29
