Linda Osborne-Damon Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 28, 2025.
Linda Marie "Mrs. Magoo" Osborne-Damon, 75, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, in Brockton, Massachusetts. Born on February 13, 1950, Middleboro was the town she called home throughout her adult life, Linda was a beacon of kindness and warmth to all who knew her.

Linda was the beloved daughter of Grace Gatt and Frank Morse who pre deceased her. She was raised in a large and loving family alongside her siblings: Gloria Lena, Betty Gisetto, Cindi Minkle, Lea Hathaway, and Fred Morse. She was predeceased by her brothers Tommy Morse and Frank Morse, and Edward Morse as well as her sisters Margaret Somes and Grace McCarthy.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Linda leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: sons Richard Osborne and James Osborne; daughters Jeanette Damon and Tammy Damon. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren: Marc Henriques, Donnie Henriques, James Osborne, Jillie Osborne, and Luke Osborne. She also held close in memory her late partner Donald Damon "Mr Magoo " and stepdaughter Debbie Damon.

She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and her Godson William Lincoln who she adored

Linda's life was guided by deep spirituality. A devoted Protestant, she found strength and peace in her faith. Her gentle spirit touched everyone she met-she never had a bad word to say about anyone and lived each day with compassion at the heart of all she did.

Known affectionately as "Mrs. Magoo," Linda brought joy to those around her with her sense of humor and generous heart. She cherished time spent with family above all else. Whether gathered around the table or sharing quiet moments together, these were the times that meant the most to her.

One of Linda's favorite pastimes was playing Chums-a word game she enjoyed immensely with both family and friends. These games were more than just entertainment; they were moments of connection that reflected Linda's love for language and laughter.

In her final months, Linda received compassionate care from the dedicated staff at Southeastern Skilled Nursing Center in Easton. Their kindness provided comfort during this time for both Linda and those closest to her.

May Linda's memory bring peace to those who loved her and serve as a reminder of a life lived with grace, generosity, and unwavering love.
