Linda Cecile Paskiewicz

Linda was always someone I looked up to - always had a smile on her face and never complained about her RA pain; instead she was more concerned about how others were feeling. I learned a lot from that beautiful lady

I met Linda 54 years ago at Mundelein College. She was a good friend of my sister, Maureen. Over the years we have been together at family gatherings for Maureen´s family. No matter how long it had been Linda and Jim were always smiling and so much fun.

I wish that I could see you now, free from pain and disability. You were not only my sister, but my forever friend, confidante and partner in crime. We had such good times together that I will cherish forever!

We are happy that my mom is at peace, and not hurting. Marcus and I will always remember the good times... like when our family pups got to meet cute over your Thanksgiving trip to see us in TN. We will treasure those memories. Sending love,

I am happy my sister is no longer suffering, as I know the last several years were very difficult for her. My family and I will remember the good times. We all have fond memories, including her nieces and nephews (Mady, Ethan, Logan, and Aliya), as well as her mother, Laverne, who loved her dearly.

We remember Linda with great fondness from our days together at OLV and Wings. Her smile, warmth, kindness and creativity will always be remembered. How lucky were our children Patrick and Maeve to have her as their 1st teacher at Wings. We still hang the ornaments she made on our tree every Christmas! Our sincere condolences to you, Jim, Lauren, Dana and all your family. We hope it will bring you comfort to know there are so many people that will always remember what a very special person Linda was.

The first time I met Linda was when I was Jim's computer lab asst. She came into the classroom with a great big smile and greeted me with a hug and said "You must be Evy?" That beautiful and friendly smile lit up the room. She will forever be missed. Rest in paradise Linda. Until we see each other again in heaven.

I will miss my sister greatly, but I know that she is no longer suffering. I will always remember the good times. Happy heavenly birthday, Linda!

I will remember Linda's happy smile and showing her what color my finger nails are this week hoping she would get the same color or something different.

I will always remember her huge, beautiful smile!! And, the delicious cupcakes she made. But, most of all, that smile and her sweetness!!

I finally found you after all these years since Taft High School. I kept thinking that when I was in Chicago for a visit that we might get together. I was crushed to see the the Facebook post when I went to wish you a happy birthday this morning. Linda Vandlik Mahaney

I always looked forward to "bumping into" Jim and Linda at craft shows. Their bird houses were beautiful and one of a kind. Just like Linda. Warm, happy, loving.
I want to run to all of you and give you a big hug, I'm so sorry. Our Zavacki hearts are breaking with yours.

Our driveway group meeting together to visit or celebrate birthdays and holidays. A movie on their driveway and Halloween trick or treat cookouts. Many happy memories.
