Linda J. Pike, 67, of Byron, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at Cottagewood Senior Community in Rochester after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Linda was born July 8, 1948, in Rochester. She grew up in Rochester and was a 1966 graduate of John Marshall High School. She married William "Bill" Pike in August 1966 and moved to a farm near Pine Island. In 1980, the family moved to a farm near Byron. Linda later settled in the city of Byron. Linda worked a number of years as a Home Health Aide for Olmsted County.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her numerous dogs over the years, traveling, listening to '50s and '60s music, cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Pike; children, Todd (Holly) Pike of Rochester; Troy of Byron, and Chad (Sara) Pike of New Hope, Minn.; two granddaughters, Ashley and Allison; and two brothers, Jamie Breidel of Rochester, and Larry "Dean" Fuller of Grand Junction, Colo.

I worked with Linda off and on many years ago in the medical field. Linda always had the greatest sense of humor and was so fun to work with. Prayers and thoughts with Family and Friends.
