Linda Voss Obituary
Linda J. Voss, age 69, died Tuesday, November 1, at her residence in Edgewater, Florida. Born in Peekskill, New York to Kenneth and Dorothy Cooney, Mrs. Voss came to this area in 2003 from Cortlandt Manor, NY. A former secretary for the Chief of Nursing at the Veterans Administration, Linda enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, reading, and spending time with her family and cats. She was a devoted wife, mother, and "Me-ma".
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jon; daughter, Jaya (Ang) Dong of Sebastian, FL; son, Jon K. (Tracy) Voss of Mableton, GA; three granddaughters, Cheyenne Dong, Alexi Dong, and Claire Voss; grandson, Ethan Voss; two brothers, Dennis (Cindy) Cooney and Michael (Linda) Cooney.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Voss's name may be made to Southeast Volusia Humane Society, 1200 S. Glencoe Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. Online condolences may be made at settlewilderfuneralhome.com.
