Linda Carol Wolcott, aged 79, passed away on June 5, 2025, in Longview, Texas. Born on November 25, 1945, in Magnolia, Mississippi. Carol was known for her fun-loving personality and quirky sense of humor. She cherished her travels to the mountains of North Carolina and the beaches of Florida, finding great joy in the natural beauty of these places.

Carol dedicated many years of her career as an administrative assistant , where she was valued for her diligence and kindness at Royal Maid Industries for the Blind in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, Pella Windows, and Southern Printing in Jackson, Mississippi.

She graduated from Madison-Ridgeland High School, which laid the foundation for her successful career and lifelong learning. Carol was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

Carol's hobbies included spending time outdoors, reading, and taking pictures; activities that allowed her to make lasting memories. These moments brought significant joy throughout her life and to those she shared them with.

She is survived by her mother Marguerite Cain Wolcott of Mississippi, her children, Kristy Bowen (Rob Bowen) of Texas, Nickie Kidd (Shane Kidd) of North Carolina, and Josh Richardson (Kim Richardson) of Mississippi. Carol was a cherished grandmother to Hailey, Chandler, Braeden, Micah, and Asher. She is also survived by her siblings, Frances Wolcott, Christine Fowler (David Fowler), Earl Wolcott, and Patricia Wolcott (Hugh Boyles), all of Mississippi. She is survived by nieces and nephews Chuck, Meredith, Katherine, and Stefan. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Hite Bridges Wolcott.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends to honor Carol's memory.
