Linda Pribble Womack, 67, of Rustburg, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024. She was the loving wife of Ronnie E. Womack.
Linda was born in Evington, Virginia on June 2, 1956, a daughter of the late Collie Steptoe Pribble and Augusta McKinney Pribble. Linda was retired as a supervisor with Master Brand and was a past member of Evington United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son R.W. Jordan and his fiancé Audrey Walker of Forest, seven grandchildren: Jacob Jordan, Carter Jordan, Kassidy Jordan, Zachary Bryant, Trevor Womack, Steven Walker, and Kaley Walker, a sister Ava Tomlin and her husband Harold, stepchildren Ronnie Dale Womack and Angela McFadden and numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sister in laws and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a bother Roger Pribble, a grandchild, Anthony Jordan, and a nephew Roy Lee Pribble.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg. A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Pastor Sam Stump officiating. Interment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park in Forest.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the care givers at Noah’s Landing in Goode and to Centra Hospice, especially the Bedford Team.
